Do you get nervous when you're in the car with your friends and you hear the words "You want the AUX?". Being in charge of playing music during a long car ride can be tough but we're here to help. With songs ranging from REEL IT IN by Amine, Drip Too Hard by Lil Baby to classics like Devil in a New Dress -by Kanye West and even some old Jazz, Alt.Rock and R&B classics, this playlist will not only make your long car ride a bit less boring but it'll definitely impress your friends.

What's important about the music on a road trip is that it has to match the energy and the mood of the drive. That's why this playlist is split up into two moods: 1. Hype and 2. Chill.

It starts off with hits like Praise the Lord by ASAP Rocky and Ric Flair Drip by Offset. These songs are well-known and will guarantee to get everyone pumped up for the trip. Mixed in between these hits will be some more low-key songs like Pull Up by 16-year old rapper Lil Mosey that not everyone will know, but will definitely get their attention. These songs are perfect to bring the energy up in the morning and get everyone excited for the long journey ahead.

When it's heading toward the 3 - 4 hour mark of the trip and everyone's getting a little drowsy, it's probably a good idea to turn off the Migos and switch it over to something a bit more relaxing. This is when the second half of the playlist comes in handy.

As a good rule of thumb, the best music for relaxation should be around 60 - 90 BPM. This is because it matches your average resting heart rate and it'll help slow your breathing as you try to relax. By using the tool song bpm, we found songs that not only fit into this BPM range but are also just great to listen to.

The second half of the playlists consists of throwback R&B songs like Heartless - Kanye West that will provide a relaxing and nostalgic vibe for people so they can have some light conversations or just relax for a while. It'll then transition into some Lofi Hip hop beats and soothing Jazz tunes that have no lyrics to help reduce any distractions and to help people sleep.

Why we think this is such a great road trip playlist is because it has something for everyone and everything. Is your friend tired of all the hip-hop that you're playing? Switch it up and play Californication by RHCP or Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People. Are your friends complaining about the music being too fast and loud? Put on Midsummer Madness by 88rising. Just need some time to chill out and have some conversations? Put on some Lofi Hip Hop beats and let the conversation flow. With the perfect combination of genres and moods this playlist carries, these songs will get everyone turning their heads and asking you "Yo, what song is this?".
