Yes, it’s that time of the year again. None of us are fans, but we all have to go through it (well, most of us). You know you’ve hit exam season when you’re either struggling to find spots at the library or staying there until 4am.
While those delivered pizzas from Domino’s will only last so long, we know something that might give you that extra boost you need to get through your exams. Titled songs 2 create to, this curated playlist elegantly combines various experimental and ambient sounds, creating a beautiful environment for studying. It’s mostly void of any lyrics to truly help you concentrate. And if you do hear any lyrics, they’re atmospheric type vocals. Trust us, you won’t be thrown off at all.
There are definitely a couple highlight tracks to look out for. The first one is Powerlines by Tame Impala. Although this track comes from their highly popular album Currents, this is a lesser known one because it was part of their Collector’s Edition, B-Sides & Remixes. The track’s continual build up and loop in the beginning with the synths and drums will undoubtedly have you locked into your studying.

#3 by Aphex Twin acts as a great introduction song to get you in the right state of mind while Inside by Moby creates a steady rhythm with his alpha waves type music. This is perfect when you’re at your peak studying mode.
Lastly, you should keep an eye out for Bye. by J Dilla. The iconic hip-hop producer never fails to produce a beat for the right occasion, which is why he’s regarded as one of the most innovative and talented producers in the hip-hop game. This one’s definitely a head bopper.
The playlist is at 35 songs right now (it’s constantly curated so don’t worry – you’ll be able to listen to new tunes), which amounts to about 2 hours and 45 minutes. Not a bad length for a study session if you ask us. If you’re studying for longer, just replay the playlist and you’re back in the zone.
If you vibe to this, feel free to check out the playlist curator’s Spotify profile and give her a follow. She’s got plenty of more dope playlists.
Happy studying!
